Our corporate team continues to grow and we are hiring an IT Infrastructure Administrator to ensure the operation and management of servers, networks, and telecom equipment. This opportunity will also include assisting service delivery helpdesk with issues.



Key Job Responsibilities


  • Administer, manage, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019
  • SAN, NAS and Direct attached Storage installation, configuration, and support.
  • Design, deploy, support functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • Ensures continued reliable business operations of the infrastructure environment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware, software, peripheral and network malfunctions such as virtual machine/physical server components
  • Administer, manage, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere ESXI 6.0 or greater including HA, vMotion, thin provisioning, etc.
  • Converting VMs between different platforms and VMware Products. P2V & Consolidation (Both Physical and Virtual)
  • Manage HCI backup appliances, traditional backup solutions, to-disk backup solutions, tape backup solutions
  • Administer, manage and troubleshoot Azure cloud environment
  • Ability to administrate, setup, troubleshoot local phone system
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Maintain complete documentation
  • Assigned to projects as required
  • Ability to cover other Infrastructure team members in same team
  • Serves as secondary (tier 2) contact for all internal and external customer technical support request. Includes request such as computer workstation hardware and software, telephone, operating system, printing, and internet access problems.



Formal Education & Certification

  • 2+ years’ experience working in an IT infrastructure or information systems capacity
  • University degree a plus
  • Experience with a comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure solutions, administration, configuration, procurement and deployment (physical, cloud, etc.


Knowledge & Experience (or Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications)

  • Experience in Microsoft Server operating systems and applications including Active Directory
  • VMware vSphere Installation, Configuration and Management
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Storage experience with NAS, SAN, Tape Drives
  • HP Server systems experience
  • Networking (subnetting, IP, DNS, DHCP, Cisco, etc.)
  • Able to communicate effectively with employees on- site and at other locations including internationally via email, telephone, and in-person
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.

Strong documentation skills.


Work Conditions

  • Physical Demands - May require lifting of servers, monitors, pc’s.
  • Travel Responsibilities - A few times a year to visit sites supported.
