  • Overview


    The Inside Sales Representative will provide customer support, purchasing, order entry, order processing, and logistics support to external sales resources and direct support to customers on order inquiries and parts questions. 




    • Support account managers to ensure sales orders are processed to meet business and customer requirements.
    • Source and purchase items to meet customer requirements and ensure lowest cost position is achieved for JBT while still maintaining a positive supplier relationship.
    • Respond to customer calls and emails and use effective communication to ensure high customer satisfaction is achieved.
    • Effectively organize all aspects of the position to ensure excellent, prompt and accurate interactions with customers, co-workers, suppliers, and business processes occur. 



    • High School Diploma plus five years business experience
    • At least 3 years of inside sales experience supporting outside sales resources and fulfilling orders taken directly over the phone or email
    • Excellent organization and communication skills
    • Complete working knowledge of fully integrated business systems
    • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrate a strong knowledge and background in the area of sourcing and purchasing a wide variety of PT parts.
    • Experience managing inventory levels and turns.


    • BS degree in related field
    • Experience in Mechanical Power Transmission (PT) Industry or Products
    • Sales management experience
    • Excellent communication skills (Bi-Lingual Spanish a plus) oral and written
