    Responsibilities

    SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

    • Coordinate customer service requirements with onsite maintenance personnel.
    • Answer phones and enter work orders into the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
    • Oversee the scheduling of technicians and the input of all required information into the CMMS, including the tablet oversight and reliability.
    • Serve as the first point of contact to customers and vendors.
    • Implement work order schedules maximizing usage of technicians and other resources.
    • Run operation reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency/productivity.
    • Ensure all systems are operational and ready for start of the daily operation and verify that all communications links (PLCs, etc.) are running and operational.
    • Coordinate with airline users and their O&M staff as required (i.e., regarding any/all BHS operational decisions, initiation of contingency plans and procedures, changes in status, downtime, etc.).
    • Collect, at a minimum, monthly flight schedules from airlines at both concourses and generate a master schedule with pier assignments
    • Monitor system for any visual and audible alerts/alarms, and notify maintenance personnel of identified conditions that may need correction.
    • Provide a comprehensive turn-over to the next shift of current conditions and relevant issues as required.
    • Maintain constant communication with TSA designated representative to maintain operational performance.
    • Comply with company safety program and trainings.
    • Complete other duties as assigned or needed.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of Work Order Coordinator, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or fell objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to sit.

                     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

    Qualifications

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • 2 years' related experience in customer service or dispatching
    • 1 year of related experience with data entry and scheduling workloads, and processing work orders
    • 2 years’ related experience in an administrative/office environment
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
    • Ability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays
