  • Overview

    JBT Airport Services is an industry leading, dedicated provider of Maintenance Services to Airlines and Airports throughout North America. Our maintenance services cover the full range of service from 24 hour, 7 day per week on-site service and emergency call out, to periodic maintenance of equipment based on technical visits quarterly, semi-annually, and/or annually with supplementary emergency support and call out as needed.




    • Answer phones and serve as first contact for customer service.
    • Monitor and dispatch technicians for repairs/maintenance on the Baggage Handling System.
    • Coordinate customer service calls with staff and track work orders into the CMMS Fleet Focus system.
    • Implement work order schedules maximizing usage of technicians and other resources.
    • Perform Morning system startup
    • Provide help and support with preventive maintenance requirements
    • Comply with company safety program and trainings.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.



    While performing the duties of Work Order Coordinator, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.  Work in a fast paced environment.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination is required. 



    The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.



    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • 1 year of related experience in customer service or dispatching
    • 1 year of related experience with data entry, scheduling work loads, and processing work orders
    • Basic mechanic/maintenance skills
    • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
    • Ability to work Day or Night shift including weekends and holidays
