JBT Corporation has an opening for a Welder in the Sandusky, Ohio facility.
This position is responsible for: Performing a variety of stainless steel fabrication, and weld processes on light gauge stainless steel metal. Utilizing fabrication machinery, fixtures, and hand tools to ensure components meet tolerance specifications and quality standards.
Job Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Two years’ work related experiences; or Associates Degree in Welding Technology. Knowledge in both MIG and TIG weld processes required. Working from mechanical engineering drawings, work instructions, and shop routings to perform tasks. Must be able to perform accurate arithmetical calculations and measure and verify dimensions using tape measure, scale, micrometer or templates. Understanding the physical properties of metals and applies knowledge in the fabrication of parts required.
