We have an immediate opportunity for an Automation Startup Technician.
The Automation Startup Technician provides technical expertise to the Automation Department to meet or exceed customer requirements. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, onsite startup, and FAT support for hardware and programming of controls for A&B Process Systems equipment. This position also is responsible for supporting Customer Care Services for technical support as well as service calls via phone as well as to customer sites.
Responsibilities
The Automation Startup Technician is expected to have a working knowledge in the following areas of control system design:
Associates Degree in Electromechanical or other Automation field with over 4 years of automation technician experience is preferred; equivalent combination of education and technical experience. Knowledge of Control System Electrical Engineering\Design, PLC\HMI Programming, and Instrumentation is required. Knowledge of Process Control Systems related to the pharmaceutical, food processing, chemical, beverage, and dairy industries is preferred.
