ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Include thefollowing, other duties may be assigned.)
Must be able to use hand tools used including meters and test equipment if required.
Using electrical drawings and schematics to properly assemble the unit.
Reads work orders, bills of materials, blueprints, schematics and other written or verbal work instructions to determine best assembly method.
Verify ad gathers parts, tools and measuring devices needed for assembly. Assembles, wires, and solders electronic components according to specifications.
Performs bench and / or machine wiring of panels from electrical documentation.
Assists customer service with problems in the field.
Assists engineering with prototype assembly.
Self inspection of work performed.
Maybe required to assist in training of new employees in classification.
Using wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, instructions and thorough knowledge of electrical and electronics troubleshoots and tests components and assemblies.
Replaces bad components or parts on electrical and electronic assemblies.
Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of potential dangers in work area.
Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment if required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in electrical or electro-mechanical technology or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Maybe required to obtain forklift or overhead crane licenses.
Basic knowledge of Syteline, Team Center and other programs as necessary.
Spends majority of time in a manufacturing environment which is not air conditioned.
While performing the duties of this job is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Uses hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Regularly required to lift and move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
