    JBT AeroTech- Jetway Systems supplies single source convenience in gate equipment products and services. Each gate-related product from JBT is a fully functional, stand-alone piece of equipment that has been designed to maximize mechanical, electrical, and communication integration with other Gate Equipment. 

     

    This position will be a 2-month internship primarily focusing on work instructions throughout the plant.

    Responsibilities

    • Make the study and analysis of performance loss (equipment, organization, skills)
    • Ensure the communication between different departments (logistics, packing, projects etc.)
    • Craft learning programs for operators and team leader to help them to develop their skills
    • Establish systematization tools, simplify process and standardize work
    • Assist in the development and evaluation of processes to improve manufacturing methods within the manufacturing plant.
    • Confers with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capacities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
    • Draft and review detailed sketches, drawings, project instructions, blueprints and test specifications using computers, engineering and designing software and other drafting tools.
    • Prepares charts, graphs and diagrams to illustrate changes in workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling and machine utilization.
