    JOB SUMMARY


    The Billing Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and processing the daily invoices, e-invoices, consolidated or manual invoices. The Billing Coordinator is responsible for focusing on error free processing, problem resolution, second level customer issue resolution and delivering performance that meets or exceeds service level agreements.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



    • Ensure accurate and timely billing processes and distribution of invoices

    • Ensure invoice accuracy which includes fees, direct expenses, indirect expenses and taxes

    • Monitor the remote printing and distribution of paper invoices to ensure timeliness and completeness

    • Ensure retention and sequencing requirements are met to support billings

    • Execute and validate the electronic invoice distribution process

    • Resolution of customer inquiries regarding billing issues

    • Research and reconciliation of accounts receivable balances and customer statements

    • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS


    Education and Experience:



    • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required

    • At least 3 years of experience in billing required

    • Proficiency in PeopleSoft Billing a plus

    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite required

    •  

    • Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications:

    • Understanding of customer billing best practices

    • Excellent customer service skills

    • Ability to meet strict deadlines

    • Good analytical and interpersonal skills

    • Good written and oral communication skills

    • End-to-end process effectiveness & efficiency

    • Cost, Productivity and Efficiency metrics against world class benchmarks for customer billing processes

    • Speed and accuracy of credit reviews processing

    • Compliance effectiveness

    • Performance metrics for process, customer and employee performance

    • Work Environment- Office Environment, with some exposure to Manufacturing floor.

    • Physical Demands- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent computer and phone use. Requires repetitive finger motion and fine finger manipulation when typing.

    • Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards by properly using protective equipment, safe operation of all machinery, tools, and equipment as well as following safety rules at all times.
