    Today, JBT Corporation’s AeroTech Division is a world leader in the supply of airport equipment and services focused on the future.  At our Orlando, Florida facility we manufacture airport ground support equipment, including aircraft deicers, aircraft tow tractors, cargo loaders and transporters.  


    The Parts Sales Manager will direct leadership and management of the Orlando Parts Sales organization that provides industry leading product support while contributing to revenue growth and adding a net contribution to the business. Supervises, manages, and provides regular performance feedback to Parts Sales personnel; maintain high departmental morale while achieving departmental performance objectives. Provide regular analysis and reporting of the parts business, including performance to objectives, sales forecasts, customer satisfaction. Maintain the departmental lean SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) performance board and spearhead corrective actions addressing issues as needed through Just Do It, A3s, and other lean tools and processes. Work closely with global Customer Care team. Specific duties include:


    • Provide leadership and day to day management of Parts Sales Representatives and distribution of workload. Train team and provide tools as needed to drive targeted results.
    • Responsible for creating and meeting sales budgets, departmental budget, and monthly comment letters and performance objectives for the department.
    • Direct management of Orlando Parts Sales Department, including supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, terminations, performance reviews, coaching, salary planning, etc.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction in spare parts and product support with a customer first focus.
    • Instill Parts Representative discipline in handling departmental expenses.
    • Work closely with the Global Customer Care Manager to develop pricing strategy for parts and kits. Also responsible for developing, implementing, and communicating yearly price increase.
    • Develop and recommend parts sales practices to department, global Customer Care market team and sales team that leverage company capabilities.
    • Maintain monthly Inbound/Backlog for Department.
    • Maintain and update Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPLs).
    • Work directly with Purchasing/Sourcing departments to determine proper seasonal spare parts inventory levels while minimizing slow moving/obsolete/excess inventory.
    • Provide input to Marketing for development of sales materials for increasing the sale of parts kits and services.
    • Responsible for issuance of credit memos’ and RMA’s while working with the Parts Sales Team to minimize customer returns.
    • Timely input for Monthly Report to include: Departmental report, Inbound/backlog, sales versus budget, On Time Performance, margin report, and customer sales and trends. Other analysis and reports as required.
    • Train product sales force on parts offerings to enhance overall sales.
    • Work directly with customers to develop customized parts support programs.
    • Assist Orlando Field service team to market and sell service/parts programs.
    • Maintain the highest ethical standards, open and honest communication, work with integrity and treat everyone with respect.
    • Support and provide leadership for principles of relentless continuous improvement.
    • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.


    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or technical field
    • At least three years of technical/sales experience. Experience with GSE/heavy equipment service parts area would be helpful.
    • Fluency in Spanish a plus.

    Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications:

    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized and have the ability to effectively give presentations internally and to customers at all levels.
    • Must be self-motivated, willing to travel, and prepared to work overtime as required.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
    • Syteline ERP system or similar experience preferred.

    Supervisor Responsibilities- Responsible for managing the Orlando Parts Sales Department

    Type of Supervision Position works under: (close, moderate, minimal) must be able to work under minimal supervision.

    Relationship Responsibilities- Provides leadership, guidance, and management of the Parts Sales team. Builds and maintains working relationships with the Parts Shipping Department, Purchasing Department, Sales Department, and Global Customer Care team.
