We have an immediate opportunity for a Contract Administrator.
The Contract Administrator is responsible for administering contracts which involves drafting, reviewing, revising and analyzing contracts with customers and vendors, as well as implementing systems to accurately track the fulfillment of contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with excellent organization and communication skills. This position is responsible for maximizing business unit margins and mitigating business unit risk in concert with the Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, Estimating and Installation teams.
A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Law or other appropriate Business field required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the preparation, negotiation, administration and monitoring of contracts.
Possesses a technical aptitude and the ability to work with technical staff. An understanding of financial statements is required along with knowledge of purchasing principles, practices and governing ordinances. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of professional engineering services and/or construction contract services.
Experience in custom manufacturing/fabrication or related field with exposure to markets targeted by A&B is highly desirable.
This is a results-orientated position. Successful candidates must be focused on increasing sales, meeting the needs of the customers while meeting business unit risk mitigation and financial objectives.
