    We have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

    Responsibilities

    • Effectively leads and supervises a team of electrical engineers in the design and automation of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and related systems for the global marketplace 
    • Analyzes and/or approves vehicle and project requirements and designs
    • Accountable for department’s cost, delivery and quality
    • Oversees the department’s safety performance, and quality of workmanship
    • Manages department’s overhead and direct labor costs
    • Designs and/ or approves material handling systems
    • Prepares general material handling equipment or product line equipment estimates
    • Creates and/or approves design and material handling drawings/documentation for customer approval, manufacturing and erection, and to create or provide direction in the preparation of detail drawings and construction of equipment
    • Provides technical support to customers
    • Oversees customer ordered or R&D projects and has the latitude to select the most economically feasible solution for each assigned project

    Qualifications

    • 10+years prior Electrical Engineering experience in the automation field
    • 5+ years management experience required
    • Lean Six Sigma experience required
    • Prior experience estimating
    • Familiar with harnessing, panel design and battery technology
    • Familiar with communication protocols
    • Familiar with Ethernet or RF experience
    • Familiar with current US and EU safety standards
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD
    • PLC code writing experience, preferred
    • Knowledge of Windchill, preferred
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
    • Detail oriented with a “root cause” driven approach to solutions
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%
    • Valid driver's license
