    This position will be located in the Mid-West Region of the United States

     

    Manage JBT FoodTech’s product portfolio to assigned Processed and Protein Foods customers and be accountable for increasing market share and overall sales to those customers. Develop strategies and implement plans to maximize the profitability of JBT FoodTech customers. Be accountable for customer satisfaction as it relates to new equipment and aftermarket purchases as well as productivity solutions. Fully employ JBT FoodTech technical resources (personnel and facilities) to provide productivity solutions to assigned customers. Responsible for attending major industry trade shows and setting up customer events.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Percent of Time Spent:

    Manage JBT’s product portfolio with assigned customers and be accountable for increasing market share and overall sales to those customers. This includes accurately forecast sales revenue for assigned accounts and territories, and maintaining and referencing a sales prospect list with project leads.

    Develop strategies and implement plans to maximize the profitability of JBT’s customers. Must create a key account plan for each of the assigned key customers. Update it semi-annually to ensure adequate technical and management resources.

    Be accountable for JBT’s customer satisfaction as it relates to new equipment and aftermarket purchases as well as productivity solutions. Stay aware and influence the effects of the JBT aftermarket sales group as they relate to assigned customer’s experience. Continuously communicate with field service to understand operational issues that may affect new equipment sales

    Fully employ JBT’s technical resources (personnel and facilities) to provide productivity solutions to assigned customers. Accompany assigned customers to Sandusky, OH Technology Center for testing. Identify revenue generating opportunities to deploy training, field service and application services to improve customers’ operational efficiencies.

    Continue personal skills development. Continuously assess personal skills and abilities in a constructive way. Determine what areas of training will facilitate accomplishment of essential duties and responsibilities.

    Qualifications

    Requirements: Continue to enhance knowledge of product line, food processing applications understanding and sales function reporting and understanding.

    Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.  Must be proficient in using the MS Office Suite.  Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred. Ability to apply capacity calculations, sizing concepts and equipment payback models to customer projects. Ability to define problems collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.

     

    Experience: A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required. Three to five years related experience in food processing or JBT FoodTech equipment, and/or training is necessary
