  • Overview

    JBT Airport Services is seeking a qualified Site Manager who will have full responsibility for the oversight of the day to day operations at the site, which includes, but is not limited to:

    •Direct customer interface and overall project management
    •Ensure consistent site leadership and direction
    •Staff & personnel management
    •Financial reporting
    •CMMS/Purchasing/Inventory control
    •Technical oversight for the maintenance program, corrective repairs, and special projects


    This position will also oversee the performance measures and systematically assure year over year key performance indicators (KPIs):
    •Customer satisfaction
    •Employee training & technical expertise
    •Cost accountability


    Finally, this individual will proactively manage and measure customer expectations, and meet regularly with the designated customer representative(s) to assure continuous interface and communication to resolve issues and develop professional solutions.



    • Responsible for the performance/execution of all maintenance activities at the Site. 
    • Responsible for the financial profitability of the project. 
    • Oversee the timeliness and accuracy of all required information into the CMMS system. 
    • Responsible for the timely scheduling and completion of all Preventive and Corrective work. 
    • Responsible for verifying all work is being done correctly, safely and on time. 
    • Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of all required hard copy reports as well reports generated utilizing the CMMS system. 
    • Insure the development and implementation of technical and safety training programs for the site. 
    • Responsible for providing budgets and financial reports as required. 
    • Responsible for the day to day purchases required to keep the operation running smoothly while staying within budget. 
    • Oversee all operational functions and insure compliance with JBT standards, policies and procedures, performance requirements, contractual agreements, Labor standards, OSHA, and any other applicable regulatory requirements. 
    • Responsible for meeting monthly performance requirements to earn any additional performance fees. 
    • Identify operational concerns and coordinate efforts to resolve open issues in a timely manner. Develop and implement rectification processes. 
    • Oversee safety standards and programs and insure standards are established, followed and measured. 
    • Meet regularly with the Customer and as necessary with the Airport Authority & TSA to assure a high degree of Customer Satisfaction and performance. 
    • Support the Regional Director in special projects and assignments. 


    • 10 years managerial experience in the area of maintenance operations and project management
    • Must have strong GSE knowledge and experience.
    • Ability to perform and oversee technical maintenance, CMMS, administrative, HR, and financial requirements.
    • Experience background in management, operations, administration, finance and electrical maintenance. 
    • Familiarity with aviation, airport and airline operations and maintenance services. 
    • Strong leadership, team building and people skills. 
    • Understanding of Lean methodology a plus. 
    • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with the customer, HQ management, and site personnel. 
    • Strong presentation skills with ability to introduce and implement new processes and procedures. 
    • PC skills with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, project management and understanding and knowledge of CMMS. 
    • Must be able to be on-call and work occasional evenings and weekends.
