Today, JBT Corporation’s AeroTech Division is a world leader in the supply of airport equipment and services focused on the future.  At our Orlando, Florida facility we manufacture airport ground support equipment, including aircraft deicers, aircraft tow tractors, cargo loaders and transporters.  


As a Global Marketing Director with JBT AeroTech, you will be responsible to provide the GSE businesses with strategic marketing leadership on a global basis. The Global Marketing Director will be responsible for all strategic equipment and aftermarket marketing efforts globally including: advertising, press releases and other external marketing communications, management of trade shows and the management of JBT – GSE Websites.



Marketing plans clearly outlining the marketing message to be delivered and details the supporting actions are established.


Manages development and implementation of global marketing strategies consistent with divisional objectives.

Trade show events are coordinated on a global basis. Tradeshow objectives are set and results monitored.


High quality marketing collateral for print and web that effectively delivers the marketing message are developed the lowest possible cost.


Strong media contacts are established and regular press releases issued to help in building the JBT brand image, including articles, white papers, press releases, media plan, ad designs, advertising, etc.


Responsible for the production, communication and distribution of marketing related materials globally (e.g. presentations, brochures, videos, etc.). Also includes assisting with proposals, presentations and during the order fulfillment process.

Responsible for the coordination of industry trade shows/conferences on a global basis.

Provides global market analysis on equipment and aftermarket competitors and current trends, customer surveys, and sales history.

Sets global marketing plan and establishes the annual calendar of events.

Direct support to General Manager and Director of Global Sales and Service on industry updates, formal presentations and reports.

Direct support to Region Managers for all product and aftermarket marketing requirements.

Work closely with Engineering to effectively package and market technical information for global JBT sales, agents, and customers.

Support JBT corporate website content to help deliver JBT marketing message.


Champions lean initiatives through relentless continuous improvement efforts to drive results at all levels of the organization eliminating waste and streamlining processes and procedures.


       Champions quality initiatives and supports the quality policy of the organization.


Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 Years of relevant Business to Business marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 8 Years of managerial experience.
  • Sales Experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience working for a global company is preferred.


Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications:

  • Marketing and communication expertise and/or knowledge is required.
  • Technical competency is preferred.
  • Fluent in both oral and written English is required.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office required, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Foreign language skills are preferred.
  • Previous experience with website content management, social media required.
  • Proficient in use of mathematical concepts for statistical analysis.
  • Excellent reasoning ability is required.
  • Strong decision making and leadership skills are required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally & externally.

  • Work Environment- Most work is done in an office environment with occasional trips to the shop floor and travel as needed
  • Physical Demands- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent computer and phone use. Requires repetitive finger motion and fine finger manipulation when typing.
  • Supervisor Responsibilities- 2 direct reports (Marketing Manager and Marketing administration)
  • Type of Supervision Position works under: (close, moderate, minimal)- This position works under minimal supervision
  • Relationship Responsibilities- External customers, internal customers, all internal departments, JBT Corporate, and all international locations.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards by properly using protective as well as following safety rules at all times.
