    The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).



    1. Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs and recruitment campaign.  
    2. Sources resumes, administer appropriate assessments, coordinates the offer process with hiring manager for both exempt and non-exempt positions, initiates required drug and background screens, ensures the sites complete the onboarding process,
    3. Serves as Airport Services recruiting subject matter expert and first point of contact for all staffing and onboarding.
    4. Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, trade schools, industry organizations, airport recruiting programs, etc.
    5. Develops advertising programs (internal, external, virtual) in order to ensure high visibility of the JBT Airport Services brand with potential candidates.
    6. Develops and maintains superior rapport with internal and external customers to ensure staffing goals are met.  
    7. Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action and OFCCP compliance.
    8. Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Responsible to train new users on the system and ensures that resumes and requisitions are appropriately dispositioned.
    9. Manages background and drug/physical screen vendors
    10. Creates and maintains meaningful metrics such as turnover, time to fill, cost to fill, - and drives toward improvements.    
    11. Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
    12. Other tasks and projects as assigned by Sr. HR Manager and Site Leader

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.



    This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Will occasionally be exposed to airport environments while traveling.


    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    • This is a full-time, exempt position.
    • Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Will at times require working outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, etc.  
    • 25% travel

    Required Education and Experience

    1. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or related field.   Years of experience in the preferred industry may substitute education requirement.  
    2. 3 - 5 years of fast-paced recruiting. Experience in skilled trade, construction or airport personnel recruitment is preferred, but not required.  
    3. Extensive experience in creative sourcing using social media, job board websites, industry and trade school connections and networks, etc.
    4. A solid understanding of OFCCP, ADA, EEO and other applicable regulations associated with recruitment, staffing.  
    5. Expert level user with ATS (iCIMS preferred), HRIS, and LMS.
    6. Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Power Point, Visio, Outlook and Excel.      
    7. Willing and able to travel up to 25% within the US for job fairs, various career events and project start-ups.


    Preferred Education and Experience

    1. Knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and Public Works.
    2. Understanding of Prevailing, Living, Responsible Wage requirements
