We have an immediate opportunity for a Sales Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in the implementation of the marketing and sales strategy of the Company and internal and external communications. This position supports the marketing needs of the Sales Managers in addition to assisting with the administrative needs of the sales team and operational tasks as they relate to business development, namely timely RFQ and Proposal processing, distribution and scheduling appropriate follow-up.    

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Processes and Files Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and copy/distribute bid packages
  • Supports sales prospecting and communication efforts for sales team when needed
  • Maintains updates to Goldmine and Salesforce
  • Assists with gathering sales data/reports and information distribution as needed
  • Prints drawings, organizes specifications, and scans drawings for sold projects
  • Performs duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Answers incoming customer calls as needed
  • Receives customers purchase orders and enters work orders into Excel, Timberline, E-time, Goldmine & Salesforce software programs, when applicable
  • Processes change orders including additions, deductions, or other job changes
  • Collaborates with sales, estimating, accounts receivable, in order to compile all the information to process a work order
  • Sends proposals directly to customers via email and/or online website
  • Sends all correspondence, including confirmations of purchase orders and shipment notifications, when applicable
  • Troubleshoot any problems with orders and respond accordingly
  • Assists estimating in combining and organizing estimates after project is sold
  • As a backup, completes direct sales quotes
    • Take incoming calls from the Customer for Direct Sales
    • Prepare and send Direct Sale quotations
    • Process Direct Sale Orders

  • Improve proposal turn-around time & maintain accuracy

 

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

  • Knowledge of A&B products, capabilities and technologies.
  • Experience in reading and understanding documents related to requests for proposals &
  •      proposal development processes.
  • Excellent listening, planning, organizational, and writing/communications skills.  
  • Outgoing, self-starting and highly motivated individual
  • Ability and desire to assist with the development of effective proposals.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to represent A&B professionally with
  •      customers on line and via telephone.
  • Ability to work with A&B’s CRM systems (Goldmine & Salesforce).
  • Strong computer skills, Word, Excel and other programs.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

An Associates degree in Sales or Marketing Administration or similar degree is preferred. The ability to multitask and strong communication skills are necessary.  A thorough understanding and ability to use all Microsoft software applications is required.
