The position is responsible for the oversight, coordination, execution and communication of all aspects of the project between the company and the customer through acceptance and certification of the machine project. Leads and supports project managers in his group. Will execute other additional duties as required. 



  • Ensures that project objectives, costs, and schedules are met. Create timely and accurate reports for internal and external customers as required.
  • Facilitate communications between cross company and functional teams to ensure that issues are identified and incorporated into schedules and processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships during execution of assigned projects through regular customer contact. Responsible for effective customer communications throughout all phases of the project to customer acceptance.
  • Personally manages projects, in addition to leading 4-6 other project managers. Has full supervisory responsibility and impact on budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling and procedural change. 
  • Effectively manage equipment suppliers and contractors :  Create and issue specifications, Plan schedule, Arrange and approve invoices , Through customer acceptance.
  • Responsible to verify final inspection and machine document status prior to shipping.
  • Follow up on the quality of delivered equipment and services through regular communication with the customer and service installation team.
  • Provide assistance to Quality Assurance initiatives in product improvements: Give feedback to Engineering, Manufacturing and Service on machines running in the field, to improve- design, manufacturing process, installation, future quotations
  • Facilitate customer visits to JBT and other supplier facilities
  • Write departmental and project specific processes, procedures and policies as required.
  • Monitor and report recognized revenue over time on a cost-to-cost basis with explanation and corrective actions for significant deviations from plan.



  • This position requires a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Project Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement, Planning, Cost or Quality Assurance including at least 4 years’ experience in a Project support function.
  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management techniques and standards.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership ability within a matrixed team environment and contributes significantly to team performance.
  • Experience with project negotiations, multi-site interfaces, and commercial management of contracts, supplier quality systems and development and implementation of project management strategies.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting requirements
