JBT Corporation has an opening for a Technical Support Specialist.
This position is responsible for:
Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to JBT personnel and customers via phone and on-site visits. Each interaction will be handled professionally and expediently. Support mechanical and electrical issues while focusing primarily on electrical support. Technical support includes providing leadership and training to the service group on proper techniques for installing and maintaining JBT equipment.
High school diploma required. Two years’ tech school or equivalent training/experience in electronics, controls, or plant refrigeration operation. Good computer skills including MS Word and Excel required. Good troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Electro-pneumatic systems, and solid mechanical knowledge needed. A strong working background in the operation or building of JBT equipment. At least (5) years’ experience with JBT equipment or equivalent.
