Postion Title: Lead ERP Administrator
Reports to: ERP Manager
The Lead ERP Administrator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the ERP systems and data. Has complete understanding of SyteLine technical principles, concepts, and can apply these widely to perform systems administration functions such as system deployments; troubleshooting user problems and review of the operational status of the systems. This position will participate in projects to implement, test and design ERP systems and applications, resolve ERP-related software and system problems, monitor and maintain ERP systems security, coordinates install of new software releases and system upgrades, and evaluates new patches.
Duties and Responsibilities
Will work closely with end users, internal and external developers, internal audit and other compliance departments, external auditing groups, CapGemini hosting provider, and third party technical developers and software providers.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY:
Must be self-directed, an eye for continuous improvement, and have keen attention to detail as well as immediacy in responding to IT issues. Responsible for raising concerns and ensuring all audit documentation is produced and processes are adhered to. During piloting and go-live, hours may become variable and this role is responsible for ensuring issues are resolved effectively and promptly.
Responsible for suggesting and assisting in implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Errors are detected through continued IT monitoring of issues. The impact of these errors may cause lost information, productivity or security issues. This role is responsible to ensure continuous monitoring is taking place, identifying areas of concern, closing gaps, and moving the company to best practices.
BS/BA degree in Information Systems or related field and 5 or more years of relevant work experience in support of Infor SyteLine platform.
