The purpose of the Shipping and Stockroom Lead position is to coordinate the movement and control of materials in the Shipping and Aftermarket Parts (AMP) Stockroom department; and to timely process all required paperwork associated to either shipping or receiving of goods.


  • Review sales order pickers, shipping releases, and delivery receipts for packing and transportation requirements.
  • Verify actual materials released for shipment with shipping documentation to ensure component, count, and control accuracy.
  • Prepare materials for domestic or export shipment by performing various shipping operations including weighing, crating, boxing, skidding, strapping, and marking,
  • Perform shipping transactions daily and forward documentation to designated departments on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate the shipment loading arrangements and assist with loading trucks for outbound shipments in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate all domestic outbound transport activities for all chemical, aftermarket parts, equipment
  • Work closely with logistics supervisor/manager on all export shipments.
  • Unload incoming materials from a variety of transport methods that are to be processed through receiving by utilizing several mechanical and manual material movement devices such as forklift, pallet jack, and dolly cart.
  • Verify the number and condition of packages, crates, cases, etc. being received with the bill of lading documentation.
  • Perform basic to in-depth maintenance of all equipment as needed.



  • High school diploma or G.E.D.           
  • Three years shipping experience including weighing, crating, boxing, skidding, strapping marking, and documentation.
  • Basic commands of Microsoft Office products.
  • Three years of Receiving and Warehouse experience.
  • Fork Lift certified
  • Maintain Class A Driver’s License with Hazardous Endorsement


  • DOT, IATA, IMDG certification
  • Good JBT product line knowledge

  • Physically capable to work around exposure to machinery noise, coolants and oils, and fumes from associated flammable aerosol products.
  • Physically capable to work around exposure from metal turnings, sharp metal edges, and moving machinery.
  • Physically capable to work in moderate to extreme heat 25% of the day.
  • Physically capable to handle moderate stress to complete work due to time constraints.
  • Physically capable of entering data in computer 20-40% of day
  • Physically capable of operating a forklift 40-50% of day
  • Over 50lbs. requires mechanical or physical assistance.
