JBT Corporation has a position available for a Field Service Technician.
This position is responsible for:
Performing pre-installation visits, directing installation and startup, instructing operators on function of equipment, instructing operators and supervisors on safeties, and reviewing customer manuals with Production and Maintenance. Training Maintenance personnel. Assisting and aiding Engineering and Sales in connection with company line of equipment. Submitting reports in connection with the installation of new equipment and troubleshooting calls.
High School Diploma required. Two years’ tech schools or equivalent preferred. A working background in PLC, control circuit wiring, Electro-pneumatic systems, PID controller and computer based programs a must. Troubleshooting skills and a solid mechanical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics a must. A minimum of two years’ experience in the required field as mentioned. Frequent travel required.
